On its day, Phuket can compare with any
established destination in the world for
sizzling sailfish action. Every year,
hundreds of these spectacular gamefish
are caught and released by anglers fishing
from Phuket Sportfishing Centre’s
“Wahoo” fleet.
Apart from Sailfish, the fish-rich waters
of the Andaman Sea provide splendid action
with numerous other species of desirable
sportfish.

“Wahoo
1”
A major tournament winning, custom-built,
48-foot sportfisher with fly bridge, spotting
tower, outriggers and fighting chair.
The onboard fishing equipment is state-of-the-art
and the vessel is equipped with a full
range of navigational, communications
and fish finding electronics. Accommodations
consists of 2 * double sleeping cabins
(bunk beds), a large, comfortable day
cabin with occasional sleeping for 1 other
angler. TV/video/stereo, flush toilet/shower-galley.
“Wahoo
2”
A superb 43-foot Hatteras Sportfisher,
imported from USA. This is certainly the
most sophisticated charter vessel operating
in Phuket. This magnificent fishing machine
is equipped with every conceivable electronic
fishing aid. GPS – chartplotter
– colour video sounder/fish finder
– auto pilot – VHF/CB radios.
The vessel is equipped with a full range
of safety devices. The boat is powered
by twin Detroit Deisel 550HP turbo-charged
motors giving a top speed of 26 knots.
The vessel is fully air-conditionned and
extremely comfortable. The master stateroom
has a queen-size double bed with personal
stereo. The guest cabin has twin bunk
beds. The bathroom has flush toilet, fresh
water shower and hand basin. The salon
offers TV/video, VCD stereo, ice-maker,
water-maker and fully equipped galley.
“Wahoo
3”
A 28-foot day boat, powered by a single
200HP Yamaha outboard motor. Suitable
for 2/3 light/medium tackle, stand up
anglers. This boat is equipped with outriggers,
colour sounder/fish-finder and radio.
The boat has flush toilet, hand basin,
livebait well and first class fishing
equipment.
All vessels
are fully insured, registered and licensed
by the Tourism Authority of Thailand –
License number 340104. We pratice “Catch
& Release of Billfish, Sharks and
undersize fish.
